Lawn Retrofit to save money on water in San Leandro, Ca.

We had a client ask us to lower her water bill in San Leandro by removing her lawn and this is what it became. The price including 90 day maintenance on this type of service has been at $5,000.00 to about $20,000.00. If you’d like a quote, please feel free to reach out to us at 800 772-8437.

Three months later we were given wonderful news! It was heartening to hear that a client is not only saving money but also enjoying the benefits of us transforming her lawn into a garden. Changing a lawn to a garden can indeed be a fulfilling and rewarding experience. Not only does it provide a visually appealing and serene space, but it also offers various environmental benefits and opportunities for relaxation.

The fact that our client gets to spend quality time with her granddaughter during tea time in the garden adds an extra special touch. Gardens often become a beautiful backdrop for creating lasting memories and fostering connections with loved ones.

If she continues to maintain and nurture her garden, it can become a thriving ecosystem, attracting local wildlife and promoting biodiversity. Additionally, the act of gardening itself can be therapeutic and provide a sense of accomplishment.

It’s great to see how a simple change in landscaping can bring so much joy and positivity to someone’s life. If there are any specific aspects or challenges she’s facing with her garden that she’d like advice on, feel free to ask, and I’d be happy to help!

Below you can see how the garden has progressed to getting reviews by passersby:

A Saltwater Pool Redesign in Lafayette, Ca.

We were asked to soften the rock formation on the left…

We utilized similar plants that were in the homeowner’s yard. Instead of putting holes in the rocks or removing some of the boulders to create planting pockets to hold the plants, we created a new type of container for this application. These new containers can work in many other difficult situations and is not too expensive. If your waterfall or pool needs to feel softer, please let us know.

Creating a growing Progression for Sustainability

Through the years we have established a growing progression of different aged tree ferns and of different varieties. Some of these are on the Endangered Species list. The progression is so that as some go through the process of getting too big for the space, they are others to cover the openings.
